Atlantic Frontier, LLC (“Atlantic Frontier” or “AF”) is a Virginia Beach, VA based U.S. small business facilities management and investment company that combines old school face-to-face customer service with ever-changing next-gen tech to disrupt the traditional way we buy, rent, sell, design, construct, maintain and manage real estate.
To meet the growing demand for commercial and residential futuristic needs for end-to-end facilities management, we built our proprietary facility management toolkit – called the Analytical SmartHome Technology Roadmap Organizer (ASTRO).
With ASTRO we aimed to achieve Smart Home ingenuity by adapting current Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) technology (powered by TenantCloud, HighRise, and a few others) and infused it with innovative business process rules and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create a next-generation platform to revolutionize the real estate industry.
Homes and buildings of the future will integrate an endless stream of next-gen tech and process innovations to improve the performance, efficiency, and convenience of facility assets and services. This opportunity lies in the fact that those technologies and innovations are continuously changing on a weekly, if not sometimes daily basis. This presents a never-ending opportunity to support home and business owner needs.
The impact of such a rate of change creates a tremendous opportunity because it’s almost impossible to keep up with the rapid change in technology. Smartphones, smartwatches and earbuds are easy to replace, entire buildings and their very expensive internal and external components are not! A buyer has to remain vigilant and flexible in that what they buy today, might be outdated tomorrow. For the first time in history, we are seeing Moore’s Law on the verge of disruption due to AI and quantum computing, and the innovators are just warming up.
At Atlantic Frontier, to distance ourselves from the competition, we decided to not be competition at all and leverage the Smart Home as a Service (SHaaS) industry which is predicted to reach ~$151B+ by 2024. Instead of competing against or trying to overtake Smart Home companies, we partner with them to create a one-stop shop for Smart Home Technology and Process Improvement.
